Falcon Athletics Field Hockey

2025 Overnight & Extended Day  Camp at Montclair State University!!

This camp will be led by  Eileen O'Reilly, Head Coach Montclair State University (DIII) and Jennifer Eden, Assistant Coach of Fairleigh Dickinson University (DIII)

 This is an excellent opportunity to get college level training and get preseason ready!

**There will be separate instruction for goalies**

Some camp highlights include:

• Individual & team skills; individualized goalie instruction
• Training led by college coaches, current and former college players
• Strategy & teamwork exercises
• Fun games for team building, talent show, & slip & slide fun!
• Themed dress up contest days with prizes
• State of the art dorms for overnight campers with central air conditioning
• Sam's Place Dining Hall providing meals for all dietary needs

WEEK 1: July 21st-24th (Monday-Thursday)

AND/OR 

WEEK 2: July 28th-July 31st (Monday-Thursday)

Open to:

Players ages 10-19. All playing abilities welcomed!

Tentative Check In/Out Schedule:

Check In: 12pm – 1pm on Monday for extended day and overnight campers. First meal is Dinner, please plan accordingly. Check-in location is TBD.

Check Out:  . Parents will be invited to attend final scrimmages in the morning. Check-out and departure will follow at 12:00pm on Thursday at a TBD location

Sample Full Day Schedule:

8am- Breakfast for Overnight Campers

9am- Extended Day Campers arrive 

9am-12pm- Developmental/Individual Stick Work/ Individual Goalie Instruction

12pm- Lunch and rest for Overnight & Extended Day Campers

2pm-5pm- Afternoon Sessions- Numbers up/down situations, Field Hockey fun games, team building activities, chalk-talk, defensive & offensive strategies, how to build a press, etc. 

5pm- Dinner  for Overnight & Extended Day Campers

6pm-9pm- Game play of 7v7 and full field scrimmages, Extended day check out after night games. 

All meals will be taken in the dinning hall. Extended Day: Lunch & Dinner. Overnight Campers: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Please note: All athletes must bring their own equipment including field hockey stick, shin guards, mouth guard, & water. 
​Goalkeepers must bring their own protective equipment as well. If athletes are not properly equipped they will not be allowed to play. Dates & times subject to change based on facility availability.
